Old Town Photo Restoration Studio is dedicated to providing detail oriented services. Based in the historic Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, we have been providing photo and document restoration services in the Washington DC metro area and beyond for more than twenty years.  With thirty five years of combined expertise we love to handle any restoration task be it hard or easy.

We have restored both antique photographs dating back to 1850's as well as new images in need of restoration or improvemnt.  A partial list of the types we have worked on include:

Daguerreotype, Ambrotype, Tintype(ferrotype), Oval convex painting or photos in bubble glass frames; Panoramic group photographs, Cartes de visite (small card photos), cabinet card photos, Polaroid photographs, water-damaged photos; faded or decolorized photos; photos stuck to glass; photos with mildew damage, and more.
